April 1 – September 30: Abkhazi Garden is open 7 days per week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last entrance at 4 p.m. Abkhazi Garden plant sales are open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Teahouse at Abkhazi Garden is a open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last tea seating at 4 p.m.

October 1 – March 31: Abkhazi Garden is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Abkhazi Garden is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

Abkhazi Garden is located at 1964 Fairfield Road, Victoria, B.C.  V8S 1H4

Admission is by a suggested donation of $10 per person which is designated to TLC’s operation and maintenance of the garden.

Specializing in Afternoon Tea and light lunches, The Teahouse at Abkhazi Garden offers a seasonal array of menu items using locally grown produce as well as a varied tea selection.  To make a reservation please call 778-265-6466.

The Teahouse at Abkhazi Garden is wheelchair accessible, however many of the pathways throughout the Garden are gravel or have steps that may be physically challenging for those with mobility issues.

Dogs are allowed in the Garden provided they are on leash and cleaned up after.

Driving to the Garden from Downtown Victoria

From Douglas Street – Turn left at Burdett Avenue and keep left. At the next light this road becomes Fairfield Road. Abkhazi Garden is located at 1964 Fairfield Road. Follow Fairfield Road for about 4 kilometres (10 minutes) by car to reach the garden – you will pass Cook Street, Moss Street, the Ross Bay Cemetery, St. Charles Street and finally Foul Bay Road. The Garden is one block past Foul Bay Road. Parking on the street is available, preferably on the north side of Fairfield Road, adjacent to the garden. Please do not park in the spaces marked ‘Residential Parking Only’.

Taking the local transit bus from Downtown Victoria

Take bus number 7 (UVIC) from Downtown to reach the garden. The number 7(UVIC) departs from Douglas and View Street downtown right in front of the Shoppers Drug Mart. You would get off the bus at Fairfield and Foul Bay Road.
