Join TLC and the Friends of Second Lake Society in taking some much needed love and care at Second Lake. Second Lake is an important part of the upper Millstream Creek watershed and protects the endangered forests of the Coastal Douglas-fir ecosystem. This conservation area is not open to the public to preserve the sensitive natural systems but guided events provide the community a unique experience. Volunteers will be using loppers to remove Scotch Broom from around the lake. Tools will be provided, if you have your own tools please bring them along. Facilities are limited.
