27.35 hectares just south east of Nanaimo
Covenanted in 2008

The Covenant Area is in the Coastal Douglas-fir moist maritime Biogeoclimatic Zone and includes areas of the red listed plant association Douglas-fir-Arbutus forest. Yellow Point Lodge opened as a small scale resort in 1939. The vast tracks of forest and pristine shoreline act as the main attractions for guests. The preservation of the property is one of the cornerstones of the lodge’s operation; this covenant insures the protection of the land, crafting a lodge that is in harmony with the site.
