The Hurford Hill Nature Park consist mostly of native, young, mixed age forest species including Douglas fir, big leaf maple, hemlock and red cedar. There is also a large cleared meadow located on the north east slope, offering a vista from the forests edge. This park contains numerous trails for hiking and recreation.
