TLC purchased this property in 2002 along the Gorge Waterway, just north of the Selkirk Trestle. The property consists of a waterfront piece that was transferred to the City of Victoria for conservation purposes after the area was subdivided. After extensive restoration, the property was used as a demonstration site and educational tool exhibiting a natural alternative to hardened shorelines.
