The Upper Clearwater Valley is home to resident black & grizzly bear, cougar, ungulates (moose, deer, elk, caribou) and smaller animals (coyote, fox, etc.). Wildlife safety will be discussed during an introductory orientation on Day 1 of the workshop. Some activities may involve walking on public trails, where participants may encounter other people’s dogs or other pets.
