CANCELLED: Passport to Nature: Mushroom ID Walk
October 23, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join Kevin Trim (former SVIMS President) and TLC’s Torrey Archer on a hunt to find and identify mushrooms in the beautiful mature forests at Second Lake. Participants will learn how to ID the most common species, deadly species, the parts of the mushroom fruiting body, and discuss the role of fungi in forests.
Please remember to bring a water bottle and snacks, wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
