Atkins Road Restoration with the Greater Victoria Green Team

Sunday, December 2, from 9:30 am to 1 pm
Meet at Mill Hill Regional Park Parking Lot.

Join TLC, the Greater Victoria Green Team (GVGT) and CRD volunteers in eradicating invasive St. John’s Wort from the endangered Garry oak ecosystem in the park reserve. Volunteers will learn about and take part in using sheet mulching a.k.a. “lasagna gardening” to smother invasive species which also builds soil for native species to thrive again. Tools, gloves and snacks provided!
