This property is ecologically significant as it is a relatively undisturbed mature second-growth forest. Cross Covenants connects two major parklands on the Island. There is varying terrain within the covenant, from sloping cleared pasture with treed hillside to the small ravine and stream which meanders through the western portion of the property.
