EVENT TITLE: Welcome back monarchs
EVENT DETAILS: On Saturday October 21th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, we will celebrate the return of monarchs to the West Kootenay in a full day excursion into the Fort Shepherd Conservancy to plant flowers for monarchs and other native pollinators.
This unique event will be co-hosted by the Kootenay Native Plant Society, The Land Conservancy, and the Sn̓ ʕaýckstx (Sinixt) Confederacy and the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (CCT) and will focus on the following restoration objectives: Endangered Butterfly Host Plants- Planting milkweed and other butterfly host plants in meadows
