EVENT TITLE: Way̓ ́ʔi̓tx̌ʷǎʔ (“why eat-hwa”) Hello camas
EVENT DETAILS: On Friday October 20th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, join us to celebrate camas (ʔíʔtxʷǎʔ) in a full day excursion into the Fort Shepherd Conservancy to plant camas (ʔíʔtxʷǎʔ) and additional camas friends plant species along the river.

This unique event will be co-hosted by the Kootenay Native Plant Society, The Land Conservancy, and the Sn̓ ʕaýckstx (Sinixt) Confederacy and the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (CCT) and will focus on the following restoration objectives: camas and Riparian Enhancement- Planting camas bulbs and additional ‘friends of camas’ native plant species along sites near the river.
