On Friday, March 24, surrounded by people he loved, former TLC Director of Operations John Shields passed away.
John was a beloved member of the TLC team. A long-time TLC Member, he was recruited to lead staff at a time when the Board was launching an extremely complex restructuring process. John brought his calm, steady hand to guide the way. With his reputation for fairness and compassion, and his integrity, John led TLC through tough negotiations and ensured that the priorities and values of TLC prevailed.
TLC’s Board and staff extend our deepest condolences to John’s wife Robin and daughter Nikki, he will be sorely missed.
