TLC is responsible for monitoring over 250 covenants across BC with the help of amazing partner organizations and a dedicated crew of volunteers. In July, the Victoria based volunteers assisted in monitoring a variety of interesting areas and encountered a variety of flora and fauna (no bears though). Note that some of these covenant areas are on private lands and are not accessible to the public without permission. A big thanks to the volunteers for helping to ensure that special places in BC are protected. |
