It is the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset where the daylight is softer\, warmer with a red or yellow glow. Ayum Creek is located in a valley surrounded by lush vegetation with old Western Red Cedar and huge Douglas-fir trees\, a truly incredible place to witness at dusk. If you’re interested in nature photography this meet up is for you! No experience required.

DESCRIPTION:Join TLC in Sooke for an exploration of DeMamiel Creek covenant area and ecological monitoring. We will only be travelling about 1.5 km along a dry river bed but checking out the botany\, geology and ecology of salmon will take the day! 10- 4 pm. Some parts of the stream are still running\, sturdy footwear or sturdy sandals (no flip-flops) is recommended. Be sure to pack water and a lunch.
