DESCRIPTION:Join naturalist Juliet Pendray and TLC on their annual monitoring visit to the Sooke Hills and learn about the natural history of the area along with the special plants and animals that call this place home. We will begin at the Sooke Potholes and explore the species that live along the creek\, Mary Vine waterfall\, and on the mossy bluffs above with an emphasis on lichen and fungi. \nPlease remember your water\, snacks\, and appropriate footwear. \nView TLC’s 2020 Passport to Nature for a full listing of our nature events designed with you in mind – those who want to explore the wild outdoors\, learn new skills and meet like-minded people.
