10.2 hectares in Saanich
Covenanted in 2004

This park was created in 1997 to protect the rare Garry Oak meadow on this site and to provide additional opportunities for walking, hiking and nature appreciation in Central Saanich. Encompassing the mossy rock locally known as Benvenuto Hill, Oak Haven Park contains majestic Garry oak, large Douglas-fir, arbutus and several species of flowering shrubs. Spring-blooming Fawn Lilies, Camas, Sea Blush and Satin-flower create a vibrant, colourful display. The rich diversity of the park provides habitat for many unique species. TLC holds a conservation covenant on this site.

You can help TLC continue to protect important ecosystems across BC by supporting the monitoring and enforcement of our covenants. Please complete our online donation form to show your support today!
