15.8 hectares on Salt Spring Island
Covenanted in 2008

This property borders on about one kilometer of shoreline that includes a small estuary, a shallow beach, a protected bay, and small rocky headlands with Garry oak meadows. There is a creek that runs through the land through a ravine of mature Douglas-fir forest, with small waterfalls and pools. The remainder of the forested area is second growth with occasional old growth trees and rocky outcrops of Garry oak and arbutus. The shallow bay boasts clam beds, eelgrass and marine habitat for wintering birds (herons, grebes and cormorants), and animals (otters and sea mammals).
