The most significant ecological features of Havenwood Park are the Mossy rock / Garry oak outcrops. A dry coastal Douglas-fir forest makes up the majority of the park, neighbouring the properties also noteworthy streams and their surrounding ecosystems. These areas provide habitat for numerous animal species including several birds and amphibians.
