The Land contains eighty year old Douglas fir, as well as standing and downed dead trees that provide habitat for wildlife and bird as well as nutrients to the soil. The two small orchard areas contain valuable old fruit tree species and a large meadow area provides bird and native insect habitat. The old fireplace near the beach front cliffs is a significant part of a heritage home site.
