TLC donated more than 400 of our plush grizzly bears to CPAWS for their efforts in grizzly bear protection.

CPAWS create and safeguard large parks, protected areas and wilderness corridors – including grizzly sanctuaries.

Just in time for grizzly bears to emerge from hibernation, TLC’s toy grizzly bears have awakened from their storage-slumber to find a new home with the British Columbia chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS).

As TLC reorganizes we are donating many of our fuzzy friends to a good home. TLC has donated more than 400 of our plush grizzly bears to CPAWS for future fundraising efforts towards the magnificent creature’s habitat.

CPAWS is a non-profit, grassroots-based conservation organization that protects wilderness in every corner of B.C. and deep into the ocean. They create and safeguard large parks, protected areas and wilderness corridors – including grizzly sanctuaries.

Founded in 1963, CPAWS has helped protect over 400,000 square kilometres of threatened areas across Canada. The British Columbia chapter was founded in 1979 and is one of 13 CPAWS chapters across Canada. Learn more about CPAWS at their website cpawsbc.org.
